About Us
Johan van de Vyver Attorneys was established in 2003. Our professional team consists of highly experienced attorneys specialising in a wide range of legal areas. They are assisted by a diligent support team who are highly capable in their different administrative roles.
We pride ourselves in obtaining the best outcome possible for our clients and strive to maintain the highest standards. Our professional team has more than 40 years’ experience specialising in road accident fund claims, personal injury claims and medical negligence as well as various other legal matters.
Meet Our Expert Attorneys
JOHAN VAN DE VYVER
Johan obtained his B Proc and LLB Degrees from the University of Pretoria.
He was admitted as an Attorney in 1999 and was an associate with Rooth & Wessels Inc and Macrobert Inc.
He established Johan van de Vyver Attorneys in 2003. He has experience in third party matters, personal injury claims, commercial litigation and insurance matters.
RIANA GOUWS
Riana obtained her BLC, LLB, and LLM Degrees from the University of Pretoria.
Riana was admitted as an Attorney in 1998 and practiced as an Associate Director at Rooth & Wessels Inc until 2006.
She joined Johan van de Vyver Attorneys in 2006. She has experience in personal injury claims, medical negligence and third party matters, matrimonial litigation and High Court litigation in general.
LAURISE HAASBROEK
Obtained her LLB degree in 2022 at the University of South Africa and was admitted as an attorney in 2026.
She joined Johan van de Vyver Attorneys in 2019. Laurise has experience in third-party and personal injury claims, as well as in litigation in the Magistrates’ Court and High Court.
CARLA KEULDER
Carla is a Candidate Attorney at our firm who obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Pretoria in 2025.
She is excited to gain valuable knowledge during her candidacy and currently has a keen interest in medical law and the law of delict.
HAYLEY VAN COLLER
Is a Candidate Attorney at our firm who obtained her Bachelors of Arts in Law Degree in 2021 and her LLB Degree in 2024, both from the University of Pretoria.
She especially enjoys civil litigation as well as medical law.
ANRI BOTHA
Obtained her Bachelor of Law degree and completed her LLB degree at NWU in 2025.
She has an interest in personal injury claims and medical negligence.
